I love making these paisley birdies! They're cute, I think. They're made with QuicKutz dies, and I use scissors to cut the wings and beaks.

Friday Sketchers # 100 ~ Bubbles!

Hi Friends! A new fabulous Friday - and I have made two cards for today! The first one is a DT card for the Friday Sketchers blog, the fabulous Claudia made a great sketch for us.
I've used a brand new stamp on my card, the release day is today! The cute image is called Bubbles and it's from the Elisabeth Bell for SCACD Sampler Edition #4. I love this lil' sweetheart blowing bubbles!

Friday Sketchers # 99 ~ Huggable

♥

It's a great new Friday, and I have made a card with Carole's wonderful sketch over at the Friday Sketchers blog!
I used the cute image Heart Stripes by Pure Innocence from My Favorite Things. The kitty is by Eureka! Stamps, and the sentiment is by Hero Arts. I colored with my Prismacolor pencils, using the MCP technique.

It's the first time I make a "crumpled rose", punched 3 big retro flowers, used watercolor paper, spritzed them with water, crumpled them and let them dry. Turned out OK I think. You can see several tutorials at the Whiff of Joy's Inspirational & Tutorial blog. The beautiful blue flower in the center is part of a wonderful blog candy I got from sweet Jacque!

I finally got round to order some of these gorgeous Sweet Pea Stamps designed by Ching-Chou Kuik, wonderful to color! This beautiful image is called Come Softly, I colored it with my Prismas. Love these cool seals by Catslife Press too! I tried not to over embellish the card, wanted the beautiful flower meadow background paper to show a bit, it's from one of the new BasicGrey pads, Green At Heart.

Sweet Stuff

Today I suddenly found my self alone at home, all my boys went away for the weekend to tend to a hockey tournament. So I ordered chinese take away, and dug into my crafting stuff, I've had a perfect afternoon!

It's not often that I use a stamp more than once, this because I have (too) many of them, and too lilttle time to use them. But this stamp, New Friends from the Sampler Edition 3 by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD, has been whispering my name ever since I first saw it, it's sooo sweet! Love it!♥ Felt so nice to make a new card using it again!

Flower Tag Card

A card a bit different from the ones I usually make, no image to color... And not square! *LOL*
I just dug into my pile of scraps, and this tag kind of grew some, little by little, over 4 days.

♥

The inspiration to make the card came from a punched flower, that I distressed with inks, and I liked how it turned out, so I wanted to use it on a card as a focal point, hence no stamped image.

Thanks for stopping by still, my cards are few and far between, takes a bit longer for me to create with my limited time and lack of mojo. But I feel my batteries charge each time I touch paper and card stock and my craft room stuff.

I'm so in love with this hobby!

Kiki La Rue

Finally here's a new card from me. It's been 5 days in the making... Not much time for card making in my life right now, and my mojo has gone missing too. I've taken a break from my DT assignments, I'll return to the DTs when I have time to full fill the requirements again. :o)

On this card I used Shy Kiki La Rue by C.C. Designs, the circle sentiment is from my own stamp collection, Aud Design, it's in Norwegian and says: Congrats - not one day older!

I got to use my new Nestabilites, narrow long ovals, I made it into a tag.
